Before you launch your SMS campaign, you will need to assign a caller ID (i.e. a telephone number or alpha-numeric caller ID) to your SMS template.
To assign a caller ID:
- Click on the settings cog on the green settings module on the canvas
- Select a pre-purchased number from the drop down list or click Buy new number and follow the prompts to purchase a new number (for more information see Do I need to buy a number to send and receive SMS?)
Note: for one-way SMS notifications it may be possible to set an alphanumeric Caller ID rather than a number. However, this is not supported by networks in all regions. To check if alphanumeric Caller ID is supported in your region see Which countries support alphanumeric CallerID?
